The Brief
This lovely Georgian Style home shares a gravel drive with 2 neighbours opposite. There was no clear definition of the ground which belongs to this particular property. This was the main brief therefore, but mainly to provide a welcoming entrance to enhance the property.

The New Design
The only gravel which remains now is the driveway to the double garage for this property. Many tons of hardcore were removed and replaced with equally as many tons of topsoil to provide planting areas, which now surround block pathways. A small lawn area to the left of the path remains under some existing mature trees. See more Front Gardens

With planting either side of a path, a minimum of 150cm allows room for
overspill softening its edges.

The Roses against the house walls provide maturity to the new
