Winner of Wokingham “Best Front Garden Award”
The owners of this property at the end of a cul de sac, wanted to change what was once lawn, to include an extra parking space for occasional use by visitors, but wanted to avoid their garden looking like a car park.
The New Design
The angles of the bricks set in gravel visually guide a visiting car to a parking area. The same brick is repeated to create pathways through planting. A trellis screen provides privacy for a small seating area.
An extra parking space when needed, otherwise a simple garden to maintain, with plenty of foliage year round, and seasonal perennial interest. See More Front Gardens

Plenty of texture in the foliage is set off against the black timbers.
