The new owners of this plot were keen gardeners who wanted to have planting areas to suit every aspect. A reasonable size of lawn was to be included, as well as a natural pond, and level changes where possible.
The New Design
The lawn surrounded by planting areas give opportunity for sun loving plants, whilst other borders around the existing large tree suite plants for dry shady conditions. The north facing brick wall on the back boundary gives opportunity for more shade lovers. The gentle slope of the garden has been accentuated with the introduction of steps wherever possible to add interest, and the bridge continues the journey over the upper pond. A trellis screen built 3metres inside the back boundary creates an area to be discovered, as it is hidden from view from the house. See More Back Gardens
